Overview
The Black Lorenza (inglés)
In Mozambique, between 1970 and 1993, Lorenza da Silva Días owns a beachside bar-restaurant in Maputo, a place where cultures and destinies intertwine. Her life takes an unexpected turn when she is separated from her family and taken to a reeducation camp, where her whereabouts become a mystery.
As time moves forward, Daniel, a journalist specializing in criminology, follows her trail, guided not only by logic and investigation but also by the memories and spiritual connection that Lorenza maintains with her loved ones. Along the way, her friends and family receive signs, dreams, and messages that lead them to uncover the truth in an unexpected way.
Throughout the journey, the script unveils a Mozambique filled with stories of love and resilience, where music, nature, and the invisible bonds between people play a key role in reconstructing the past. Through hidden letters, interviews with witnesses, and encounters with those who once shared Lorenza’s life, the story becomes a journey of discovery, redemption, and connection with the essence of existence.
A tale where the power of love transcends time, communication with the spirit guides decisions, and the pursuit of truth becomes an act of hope.
