About Project
The film was created during Dance Laboratory in collaboration with ANTICA FORNACE DEL CANOVA / CANOVA22 from WUPPERTANZ IN THE LAND / LA LUNA DANCE CENTER together with two great choreographers Aida Vainieri Özkara and Pau Aran Gimeno who share their experiences with Pina Bausch’s Tanztheater Wuppertal as part of the festival DANCESCREEN IN THE LAND 2023 at Borgo Acqua Paola in Bracciano/Italia.
Edmund Kurenia, documenting the choreographers’ work with 12 dancers, combined two choreographies to create an image/film showing the coexistence of man and nature. Coexistence in the form of a ritual of movement and dance. An important aspect is the sense of the rhythm of nature (light, water, air), all these elements together with humans create a common CLEANSING RHYTHM.
