About project
Young, conceptual artist Dylan Brody (Michele Martin) struggles at the intersection of obscurity and depression in Los Angeles, where name recognition matters more than quality, than competence even. She wins the attention of an older, fairly anonymous music editor (Paul Provenza) who spends most of the film having no idea that she’s entirely the wrong woman for him to chase.
Pitched for fifteen years by the writer / director (Dylan Brody) as a conceptual art project masquerading as a post-modern, deconstrunctionist Romantic Comedy, this micro-budget feature utilizes iconic figures of the alternative and mainstream comedy world including Rick Overton, Beth Lapides, Myq Kaplan and Kelly Carlin.
