About Project

A documentary that reviews Salvador Allende’s last speech through various views of current Chile within the framework of the 50 years of the coup d’état against the Popular Unity government.
The testimonies of the protagonists provide their experiences about pensions, homelessness, impunity, migration, sexual dissidence, the media and political participation, among other realities that are expressed in Chile today.
The script is based on Allende’s speech – performed in a woman’s voice – and develops a dramatic and current narrative of the oratory piece delivered by the Chilean president moments before he died in La Moneda. Original music allows you to create that atmosphere of tension, drama and hope.
